Dr. Raj Amin, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon from Fresno specializing in the treatment of hip and knee arthritis. He completed advanced training at Johns Hopkins and Stanford University hospitals, focusing on robotic, partial and total knee and hip replacement surgeries.
 

Dr. Amin graduated with honors from Michigan State University, where he was part of the Medical Scholars Program and earned his doctor of medicine. During medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he received numerous awards, published more than 35 peer-reviewed journal articles and served as president of the House Staff Council and administrative chief resident. Following residency, he was selected for the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Stanford University Hospital, training in advanced joint reconstruction techniques, including complex revision surgeries.
 

As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Amin stays current on the latest advancements in orthopedic treatments. He’s deeply involved in the academic community, has been published extensively in research journals and contributes to textbook chapters. He has presented award-winning research at international conferences and volunteered internationally to provide joint replacement surgery to underserved patients.
 

Outside of work, Dr. Amin enjoys cars, spending time with friends and family, watching sports, playing basketball and working in his yard.
