Dr. Chug attended college at University of California, Los Angeles and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2014. In 2019, he earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University, California. He completed his internal medicine residency training at UCSF – Fresno in 2022.
Dr. Chug has participated in the ACP’s Leadership Days; where he met with state assemblymen and senators at the Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. to advocate for preserving patients’ access to care, support adequate funding of care to Medi-Cal patients and restore funding for primary care residency training.
Dr. Chug’s goal is to make his patients feel safe and secure, while trying to reduce the length of stay in a hospital setting.
Dr. Chug is proficient in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
