Dr. Luz Adriana Garcia Aristizabal received her medical degree from Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla, Colombia, and completed her residency at Hospital Episcopal San Lucas Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Garcia Aristizabal is a board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been serving communities in the Central Valley for over 20 years as a bilingual provider in both English and Spanish. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is committed to the optimal physical, mental, social health and wellbeing of infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Garcia Aristizabal’s inspiration to pursue pediatrics stemmed from her role model, her mother, who she hopes to continue her legacy of serving the underserved. Her mother was a professor and worked in community pediatrics serving underserved communities.
Dr. Garcia Aristizabal enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and emphasizes that her greatest joy is being a “grandmother.” She enjoys partaking in mindfulness activities which include yoga, meditation, and walking.
