Aldo Mendez Ruiz, M.D., is board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He specializes in the comprehensive care of stroke patients, including diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

Dr. Mendez Ruiz received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Mendez Ruiz then went on to pursue further training in vascular and interventional neurology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Mendez Ruiz is a member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery (SNIS) and the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN). Dr. Mendez Ruiz is fluent in English and Spanish.
